 Coyotes sign forward Jenik to a one-year, two-way contract

The Arizona Coyotes have inked a one-year, two-way contract with forward Jan Jenik as announced by General Manager Bill Armstrong.

The 23-year-old out of Nymburk Czechia was drafted to Arizona in 2018 as the 65th pick in the third round.

Jenik has spent the majority of his career bouncing between the NHL and AHL. He was a crucial member of the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL, registering seven goals and 16 assists in 30 games.

In his debut showing with the Coyotes in 2020-21, he registered two goals and one takeaway in two games.

He appeared in a career high of 13 games in the 2021-22 season, adding two more goals, one assist and four blocks. In 17 games with the ‘Yotes over three years he has totaled four goals, five assists and six blocks.
