Ahh, the Maple Leafs… The club led its second-round series 2-0 after the first two duels on Toronto soil. But since then, the club has been slipping away against the Panthers.
The Florida club, which is just too strong, has won the last three games of the series, including yesterday’s in Toronto. And finally, a club has lost at home in the series.
Yesterday, it was so pathetic that during the Maple Leafs’ 6-1 loss, fans walked off and left their jerseys on the ice. Paying so much for tickets (and jerseys) to do this… the message is clear.
It sickens me when I see it.
If nothing else, give it to someone who can’t afford one.
I’d be really ashamed if I ever saw a Habs fan do that. https://t. co/HDpJ88SQbm

Auston Matthews, who is more criticized than ever, believes that his club didn’t give fans a reason to stay in the arena instead of leaving before the end of the game.
And he’s the first to take the blame.
“I don’t think we gave them much reason to stick around…”

And it inspired Danick, the Habs fan who often fires up the HFTV guys’ social networks, to taunt Maple Leafs fans on the heels of yesterday’s game.
Images have been circulating.

Note that we see Danick, who likes to put on more than the customer asks for, in what appears to be a reserved section. But it doesn’t matter: he’s alienated Maple Leafs fans.
It certainly didn’t keep him up at night.
More than ever, it’s Groundhog Day. The club is unable to win or even play well in the playoffs… and once again, people want change in Toronto.
The Shanaplan? Out. Mitch Marner? Get lost. Auston Matthews? Force yourself. You get the idea.
Obviously, the series isn’t over. But the Panthers are on a roll, and they’ll be coming home to try to win the last game of the second-round series.
And they know how to win.
