Detroit Red Wings Recall Defenseman
Marc DesRosiers-Imagn Images

The Detroit Red Wings picked up a 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets yesterday afternoon. They did so scoring three unanswered goals to secure the win, two of those three goals came via defenseman Ben Chiarot and Moritz Seider. The Red Wings were without defenseman Simon Edvinsson yesterday as he was listed as sick. That’s something to watch as the today they recalled defenseman Erik Gustafsson from Grand Rapids of the AHL. Gustafsson with the Griffins this season in ten games has eight assists; he’s a plus-seven. Gustafsson if he slides into the lineup tomorrow against the Devils can be a guy who quarterbacks the Detroit power-play.
