The Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning are currently playing in the second period. The two general managers have agreed to an AHL-level trade. The Red Wings are acquiring forward Michael Milne and Wojciech Stachowiak from the Lightning. Tampa Bay is getting back defenseman Ian Mitchell.

Michael Milne

Milne in 34 games this season has two goals and four assists; he’s a -13. In 19 games for the Crunch, he has an assist and he’s a minus-two. He’s appeared in 191 career AHL games recording 66 points on 32 goals and 34 assists. He’s appeared-35 with seven power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, and five game-winning goals. 

Wojciech Stachowiak 

Stachowiak this season has 17 points on nine goals and eight assists. He’s a minus-six with a power-play goal and a game-winning goal. 

Ian Mitchell 

The Chicago Blackhawks drafted Mitchell 57th overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Mitchell this season for the Griffins in 45 games has 20 points on four goals and 16 assists. He’s a +27 with a game-winning goal. In 201 AHL career games, he has 113 points on 27 goals and 86 assists. He’s a +51 with 12 power-play goals and ten game-winning goals.
