Ducks dominate Golden Knights in Game 2 victory

The Anaheim Ducks evened their series with the Las Vegas Golden Knights, winning Game 2 by a final score of 3-1. The Ducks have won four of the last five meetings against the Golden Knights.

The first goal of the game didn’t come until 8:37 remaining in the second period, with Beckett Sennecke scoring his second goal of the playoffs to make it 1-0 Ducks. Leo Carlsson then doubled the Ducks’ lead in the third with his fourth goal of the playoffs. Jansen Harkins then scored the empty-netter with three minutes left to make it 3-0. Mark Stone scored with six seconds left to avoid the shutout and make it a final of 3-1.

Lukas Dostal had his best goaltending appearance for the Ducks so far this postseason. He stopped 22 of 23 shots, with a .957 save percentage. It’s the third game in a row he’s recorded over .905 for a save percentage.

The series is now headed to Anaheim, with Game 3 to be played on Friday, May 8, at 9:30 ET.
