Cincinnati Cyclones forward Gabriel Bernier is heading overseas to France to join Amiens (Ligue Magnus) after 23 games, where he put up eight goals and seven assists for 15 points. He becomes the first member of the Cyclones to take the overseas route since the 2025-26 season ended.
The Victoriaville, Quebec, native began his career at the junior level, spending one season in the QMJHL with the Moncton Wildcats, where he recorded eight goals and four assists for 12 points in 27 games. He would add a goal and three assists for four points in six playoff games. The following season, he played in the MJAHL with the Fredericton Red Wings. During his time with the Red Wings, he put up 21 goals and 32 assists for 53 points in 36 games. He would add two goals and five assists for seven points in 10 playoff games.
Bernier would then head to USports, where he spent four years at Ontario Tech University. Over the course of his Ridgebacks career, he had 35 goals and 48 assists for 83 points in 107 games. He would add two goals and an assist for three points in eight USports Playoff games. Bernier led the team in goals (26) during the 2024-25 season and led the team in points this past season.
