The Greenville Swamp Rabbits have announced their 2025–26 Season-Opening Roster ahead of tonight’s regular-season opener against the Utah Grizzlies. The lineup blends returning leadership with new talent, giving Greenville the depth and versatility needed to stay competitive in a tough South Division.

Goaltenders

Pierce Charleson, Mattias Sholl

Greenville opens the season with Pierce Charleson and Mattias Sholl manning the crease. Both goaltenders bring calm under pressure and reliable positioning — traits that complement the team’s structured, defense-first approach.

Defensemen

Jacob Modry, Jake Murray, Tristan De Jong, Josh Atkinson, Jordan Power

The Swamp Rabbits’ blue line features a strong balance of size, experience, and mobility. Jacob Modry and Josh Atkinson will serve as stabilizing forces on the back end, while Jake Murray and Jordan Power add confident puck movement and strong defensive instincts. Tristan De Jong rounds out a unit built to handle both the physical and transition game.

Forwards

Stepan Timofeyev, Austin Saint, Ben Poisson, Jack Brackett, Ryan O’Reilly, Patrick Polino, Cam Hausinger, Ryan O’Hara, Brent Pedersen, Hudson Schandor, Kenta Isogai, Keaton Mastrodonato

Up front, the ‘Bits offense combines familiarity with fresh energy. Brent Pedersen, back for another season in Greenville, continues to set the tone with his physical play and leadership presence. Forward Ryan O’Reilly, one of the team’s first offseason additions, adds size and strength up front after gaining valuable experience last spring with the Orlando Solar Bears and in the Kelly Cup Playoffs. At the same time, Kenta Isogai and Keaton Mastrodonato bring speed and playmaking ability that should spark early momentum.

Roster Breakdown

Greenville opens the season with:

  • Forwards: 12
  • Defensemen: 5
  • Goaltenders: 2
  • Reserve: Tate Singleton (F)

The Swamp Rabbits’ roster carries forward much of last year’s chemistry while integrating a few key additions designed to complement the group’s pace and offensive rhythm. With Tate Singleton starting the season on reserve, Greenville maintains roster flexibility and an additional forward option as the early schedule unfolds.

Opening Night

The Swamp Rabbits open their 2025–26 campaign tonight on home ice at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Energy is expected to fill the building early as fans pack the stands for Opening Night. Puck drop is set for 7:05 PM EDT, and for Greenville, this isn’t just the start of a new season; it’s a statement. The Swamp Rabbits are ready to showcase a lineup built on depth, speed, and balance as they look to begin the year with a strong performance in front of their home crowd.
