The Norfolk Admirals have signed defenseman Caleb Price to an Ametur try-out and claimed forward James Hardie off waivers from the Jacksonville Icemen.

James Hardie

Hardie, 24, has three goals and three assists for six points in 31 games this season with the Icemen. The Barrie, Ontario native is in his fourth year in the ECHL as he’s put up 21 goals and 23 assists for 44 points in 129 games with the Cincinnati Cyclones, Rapid City Rush, Allen Americans, Wheeling Nailers, and Jacksonville Icemen. In 15 Kelly Cup Playoff games, Hardie has three goals and two assists for five points. He also spent three games in Germany with Blue Devils Weiden in the DEL, where he had two goals.

Prior to going pro, Hardie spent four seasons in the OHL with the Mississauga Steelheads. During his time with the Steelheads, he had 128 goals and 116 assists for 244 points in 255 games. He would add 12 goals and five assists for 17 points in 20 games.

Caleb Price

Price, 25, spent the last four seasons at the NCAA level, splitting his time between Lindenwood University and Mercyhurst University. However, his first season at Lindenwood came at the ACHA level where he put up six goals and six assists for 12 points in 13 games, he would add five assists in four games as the Lions captured an ACHA Championship. At the NCAA level, he had seven goals and 24 assists for 31 points in 110 games.
