The Tahoe Knight Monsters have added some experience to their roster with the signing of Casey Bailey for the 2025-26 season. Bailey, 33, had 15 goals and 12 assists for 27 points in 46 games last season with Graz99ers. He would add five goals and an assist for six points in seven playoff games. Heading into the season, Bailey could easily play anywhere in the top nine for the Knight Monsters. With the addition of Bailey, the Knight Monsters now have 11 forwards and 17 players signed for the 2025-26 season.

The Anchorage, Alaska, native has spent parts of the last seven seasons overseas. During the 2018-19 season, he put up a goal and four assists for five points in 45 games in the KHL with HC Slovan Bratislava. The following season, he finished the year in the SHL, putting up seven goals and four assists for 11 points in 28 games with Växjö Lakers HC. Bailey finally found a home in Germany, where he spent four seasons. He spent three seasons with the Iserlohn Roosters, where he put up 55 goals and 69 assists for 124 points in 140 games. In three playoff games, he had two goals and an assist. His final season in Germany came with ERC Ingolstadt, where he put up four goals and six assists for 10 points in 20 games. During the playoffs, he would add two goals and an assist in seven games.
Bailey began his professional career at the NHL level with the Toronto Maple Leafs at the end of the 2014-15 season, where he played in six games and picked up his first career goal. His only other NHL experience came during the 2016-17 season when he played in seven games with the Ottawa Senators. The majority of his professional career has been spent at the AHL level. During his four seasons at the AHL level, he spent time with the Toronto Marlies, Binghampton Senators, Bridgeport Sound Tigers, and Charlotte Checkers. In 211 AHL games, he’s put up 51 goals and 69 assists for 120 points. The 2025-26 season will be his second time playing in the ECHL after he put up eight goals and three assists for 11 points in nine games with the South Carolina Stingrays during the 2019-20 season.
