Cincinnati Cyclones goaltender Tommy Scarfone is heading overseas to France to join GAP (Ligue Magnus) after spending his rookie season in the ECHL. In 18 games, he posted a 7-7-2 record with a 3.59 GAA and .883SV%. He becomes the third player from the Cyclones to head overseas since the 2025-26 season ended, joining forwards Gunnarwolfe Fontaine and Gabriel Bernier.

BCHL and NCAA Career

The Montreal, Quebec, native began his career at the junior level, spending two seasons in the BCHL with the Surrey Eagles. In 43 games with the Eagles, he went 21-12-6 with a 2.50 GAA, .922SV%, and one shutout. During the 2020 BCHL playoffs, he went 4-2 with a 2.24 GAA and a .928SV% in six games.

Scarfone would then head to the NCAA level, spending his first three years of eligibility at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology). Over the course of his time with the Tigers, he went 55-29-4 with a 2.36 GAA, .921SV%, and nine shutouts. He was named to the AHA All-Rookie Team in 2022 and would be named to the AHA First All-Star Team in 2023 and 2024. In his last season with the Tigers, he went 25-9-2 with a 2.26 GAA, .925SV%, and four shutouts in 36 games. Scarfone would be named the AHA Goaltender of the year while leading his team to an AHA Championship. He would also be nominated for the Hobey Baker Award. The 25-year-old goaltender spent his final year of eligibility at the University of Wisconsin, where he went 11-16-3 with a 2.61 GAA, .900SV%, and three shutouts in 32 games with the Badgers.
