Allen Americans defenseman is heading overseas to join the Belfast Giants in the EIHL after finishing the 2025-26 season in the ECHL. In 46 games, he had eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points. His eight goals would have him tied with Sam Sedly for most goals by an Allen blueliner. He would put up a goal and two assists for three points during the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Prefontaine had signed a deal with HC Presov, but their transfers didn’t get in before the deadline. He becomes the third player to take the overseas route since the season ended, joining Anthony Costantini and Harrison Blaisdell.
