ECHL: Wheeling Nailers Sign Tanner Hartman

Before going pro, the Chicago, Illinois, native spent two years with the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs, including a year in the USHL Premier League and NCDC. At the USHL Premier League level, he had 22 goals and 17 assists for 39 points in 28 games and added two goals and an assist in three playoff games. The following season in the NCDC, he had 23 goals and 30 assists for 53 points in 47 games. He would add two goals and three assists for five points in five playoff games. In each of those seasons with the Monarchs, he led the team in goals.

Hartman would then head to the NCAA, where he spent two years at the DIII level with Hobart College. During his two years with the Statesmen, he had 27 goals and 37 assists for 64 points as Hobart won back-to-back National Championships in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, he was named to the ACHA First Team All-American (East), NEHC First Team All-Conference, All-USCHO First Team, NEHC and NCAA All-Tournament Teams.

Hartman made the jump to the DI level after two seasons at Hobert, spending his last two years of eligibility at Brown University. Over the course of his two seasons with the Brown Bears, he put up four goals and eight assists for 12 points in 48 games.
