The Worcester Railers announced today that they have been loaned goalie Parker Gahagen from the Bridgeport Islanders. The Railers also announced the New York Islanders assigned forward Gleb Veremyev and defenseman Jesse Pulkkinen from the Bridgeport Islanders. Gahagen this season in nine games with the Railers is 6-1-1 with a 2.18 goals-against average, and a .933 save percentage. In seven games with Bridgeport, he is 2-5-0 with a 3.62 goals-against average and a .865 save percentage. Veremyev, in 14 games at Bridgeport, has two points on a goal and an assist; he’s a minus-four. In eight games with Worcester, he has four points on three goals and an assist; he’s a minus-three. Pulkkinen, in 17 games at Bridgeport, has two assists and is a minus-nine. In two games with Worcester, he has been held pointless and is a minus-two.

Gahagen spent four seasons at Army, where in four seasons he went 40-49-16. He posted a .926 save percentage, a 2.40 goals-against average, and ten shutouts. He has appeared in 133 career ECHL games, going 78-36-6 with a 2.32 goals-against average. In 59 AHL games, he is 26-21-6 with a 2.78 goals-against average, a .904 save percentage, and one shutout.
Veremyev spent three seasons at Colorado College, appearing in 88 games, recording 52 points on 26 goals and 26 assists; he was a plus-nine. He joined the Islanders last season, appearing in ten games, recording an assist, and was a minus-eight.
Pulkkinen played in Finland, even appearing in the World Juniors for them in 2023-24, where in seven games he had a goal and two assists, and he was a minus-six. Last season, he played in 38 games in Liiga with JYP, where he had eight points on three goals and five assists; he was a plus-one. He also played in two games with the JYP U20 team, recording five points on a goal and four assists; he was a plus-one. In ten games with Bridgeport, he had an assist and was a minus-eight.
