The Edmonton Oilers activated Tyson Barrie off the injured reserve and Josh Archibald off the long-term injured reserve Saturday.

Barrie, 30, was injured earlier this month in a game against the Chicago Blackhawks. He suffered some sort of an upper-body injury and has missed games since.

In 49 games this year for the Oilers, Barrie has scored three goals and 23 points.

Archibald, meanwhile, rejoins the Oilers officially after missing the first three-quarters of the season following a Myocarditis diagnosis. He’s expected to skate on the Oilers’ fourth-line alongside Zack Kassian and Brad Malone.

The Oilers take on the Tampa Bay Lightning Saturday night at home. Puck drop is set for 8 p.m. MST.
