Game 2 between the Oilers and Panthers is mere hours away from beginning, with a lot on the line, and the official lineup for Edmonton has been revealed.
The Edmonton Oilers will attempt to take a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Final tonight as they host the Florida Panthers in Game 2. Edmonton took the opener in dramatic fashion with a 4-3 overtime win on Wednesday after falling behind 3-1.
The victory was yet another comeback win for Kris Knoblauch's squad. Looking to keep the momentum, Knoblauch is sticking with the same Game 1 lineup. Corey Perry remains on the first line in place of injured Zach Hyman.
Leon Draisaitl will once again center the second line with Kasperi Kapanen and Evander Kane, and Connor Brown, a game-time decision in the opener due to illness, will suit up on the third line with Adam Henrique and Trent Frederic.
The fourth line is intact, and Jeff Skinner will sit out again after scoring in his second playoff game against Dallas. Defensemen Troy Stecher and Ty Emberson are also scratched.

The win in Game 1 gives Edmonton a nice advantage, as eight of the last 10 Stanley Cup winners also took Game 1 of the finals. While there's plenty of work to do, history favors teams that gain the jump. Puck drop at a sold-out Rogers Place is 6 p.m. MDT.
