Notable players consist of Trey Augustine, Sam Hillebrandt, Zeev Buium, Drew Fortescue, Aram Minnetian, Ryan Leonard, Oliver Moore, Danny Nelson, Gabe Perreault and Carey Terrance, all 10 were part of the gold medal-winning 2024 U.S. National Junior Team.

Other players of note include 2024 top prospect Cole Eiserman and defenseman Cole Hutson. Eiserman set the all-time United States National Team Development Program (USNTDP) goal record with 127 goals this year, surpassing Cole Caufield’s record.

Hagens also made history at the Under-18 Men’s World Championship in April where he tallied 22 points, breaking Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Nikita Kucherov’s record he set in 2011. Hagen’s linemates Teddy Stiga and Brody Ziemer also made the WJSS roster, they each had 10+ points at the U-18s.

The tournament is used as an evaluation for players seeking to represent their respective national teams for the 2025 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship that is set for Dec. 26, 2024, through Jan. 5, 2025, in Ottawa, Ontario.
