In the middle period of the Nashville Predators vs. Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Tuesday evening, Bruins center Elias Lindholm left the game with an injury and will not return.
Lindholm left the ice after a defensive zone faceoff that left him visibly ‘off.’ Boston announced that he would not return to the game with an upper-body injury.
UPDATE: Elias Lindholm (upper-body) will not return to tonight's game.

Lindholm was in the middle of having a sneaky resurgence in play after a down 2024-25. Lindholm had 3 goals and 4 assists in the last five games prior to this evening. Totalling 37 points in 43 games played.
Boston will likely turn to young center Fraser Minten to take up Lindholm’s first line minutes. Minten has played exceptionally well and has filled in on the first line when Lindholm missed previous games. Minten plays responsibly in the defensive zone and has found a touch of scoring ability that could help him shine alongside David Pastrnak.
