NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews has been open and honest about the number of health issues she's battled in the past, including being diagnosed with cervical cancer at 39 that led her on a nine-year IVF journey with her husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll.
“I just said, ‘This sucks. This just absolutely sucks! And I am so sick of sticking myself with needles and going in there and having a happy face and not telling anyone about it,’” she recalls. Stoll didn’t love the desire to highlight a personal battle – despite both having lived very public lives in their careers.
“My husband would rather we not be so public—me not be so public,” she said. “He was just like, ‘Why do we have to say this?’ And I said, ‘Because these waiting rooms are packed.’”
She and the former Kings star welcomed their first child, Mack Roger Stoll, via surrogacy in 2023. While Stoll has been by her side every step of their marriage, Andrews admitted there is a time when they spend some time apart - when she's working on Sunday afternoons.
During a recent episode of her podcast with Charissa Thompson, Andrews admitted Stoll rarely comes to the games she's working and if he does, it's not for her.

"It's usually if they have other stuff cooking. They're not there for us. If they have other plans in that city, or where people are, that's why they're there. I don't even see my husband," Andrews admitted. "Half the time he comes in, he comes out and I see him in the parking lot."
Andrews will be on the call as the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers square off against the 3-0 Philadelphia Eagles, which kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.
