F Troy Terry agrees to 7-year contract with Ducks
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Anaheim Ducks and forward Troy Terry are in agreement on a seven-year contract extension that runs through the 2029-30 season.

The team announced the deal on Wednesday but not the financial terms. Multiple outlets reported the contract carries a $7 million annual average value.

The Ducks selected Terry in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Draft. Since then, he's appeared in 274 games with Anaheim, registering 176 points (75 goals, 101 assists) with 74 penalty minutes. Terry, 25, is also a two-time All-Star selection.

In 2022-23, the Colorado native tallied 61 points (23 goals, 38 assists) in 70 games. It was his second straight season with 60-plus points.

His 37 goals scored in the 2021-22 season are the most in franchise history by a player drafted outside of the first round.

Terry was a restricted free agent following the expiration of a three-year, $4.35 million contract.
