The Winnipeg Jets are down 0-1 in their second-round playoff series against the Dallas Stars, but Game 2 will be played on home ice. Winnipeg will be looking to even the series with Dallas, and they could be getting a big piece to the puzzle back.
Star defender Josh Morrissey is expected to return to the lineup for Game 2. Morrissey has been out since taking a big hit during the Jets' Game 7 matchup against the St. Louis Blues in the first round.
The defender missed Game 1 against the Stars, but he could be returning here tonight. If Morrissey is indeed back in the lineup for the Jets, it could provide a massive boost to Winnipeg.

The star defender recorded 14 goals and 48 assists over 80 games in the regular season. Morrisey helped the Jets in the first round against the Blues as well, registering three assists during the first six games he played.
Winnipeg could use his services as they don't want to go down 0-2 heading to Dallas. The Jets were the best team in the NHL this past season, so they will likely be relying upon experience to help them even this series.
Morrissey could give this team an edge entering this game, as the Winnipeg defense was lacking in Game 1. The Stars were able to generate shot attempts through the Jets' defense, leading to the upset win.
Game 2 between these two teams is set for puck drop at 9:30 p.m. ET tonight.
