A new interesting video has just surfaced on social media, following Saturday's matchup between the Montreal Canadiens and the Colorado Avalanche.

It's rare to see this, but hats off to Middleton!

After the game between Montreal and Colorado, live from the visitors' locker room, we see Brock Nelson awarding their 'player of the game cap' to the tough Keaton Middleton, who dropped the gloves with Arber Xhekaj.

Middleton finished the game with five penalty minutes, a plus-minus of 0, and two hits in just over 10 minutes of ice time.

The fact that his own teammates awarded him the player of the game title says so much about the respect these guys have for enforcers.

That said, it's especially Middleton's response that I find interesting here.

Keaton Middleton admits, in the Avalanche locker room and in front of all his teammates, that Arber Xhekaj completely dominated him during their fight

It's rare to see that, but we love it!

You definitely can't say Middleton isn't honest!

'I kinda got worked in the fight, but I'll do that for any of you guys.'

- Keaton Middleton

And to think it was Arber Xhekaj who started it all!

We all know what happened next.. After that fight between Middleton and Xhekaj, the Canadiens began a spectacular comeback before falling in a shootout.

One thing's for sure: the fans at the Bell Centre on Saturday night were treated to quite the show on the ice.
