Joseph originally joined the Blues via a trade with the Ottawa Senators prior to the 2024-25 season, briefly uniting with his younger brother, Pierre-Olivier. The elder Joseph ultimately recorded four goals and 14 points in 60 games, adding one goal in three games with the Blues in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Joseph in the fourth round (No. 120 overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft. The Laval, Que. product eventually made his NHL debut with the Lightning in the 2018-19 season and won the Stanley Cup with the club in 2021, appearing in six playoff games with the club that spring.
With the Lightning looking to contend for a third consecutive Stanley Cup championship in the 2021-22 season, they sent Joseph and a 2024 fourth-round pick to the Senators at that year’s trade deadline in exchange for Nick Paul. Joseph played in Ottawa for parts of three seasons and established a strong relationship with head coach D.J. Smith, who is now the interim bench boss in Los Angeles.
Through 459 career games over parts of eight seasons with the Lightning, Senators, and Blues, Joseph has collected 61 goals and 160 points. He’s added one goal and three points in 13 career playoff contests.
