The Pittsburgh Penguins face the New York Rangers this afternoon at 3:30 PM EST. This morning reports came out that they will be without defenseman Kris Letang for a minimum of four weeks with a broken foot. The positive side is that the NHL is about to approach the Olympic break so with him being out four weeks he could return as early as February 26th with Pittsburgh returning from the break. If that’s the case he’d only miss four games including today. Pittsburgh is second in the Metropolitan Division trailing the Hurricanes by six points entering play today. Letang has 25 points this season in 50 games on three goals and 22 assists. He’s a plus-three with a power play goal. Letang has 64 blocked shots and 67 total hits.
