A week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings prospect update. This week was highlighted by two prospects within the system. Martin Chromiak was one of the two players who highlighted this week’s update with three goals during the week for the Ontario Reign.
Chromiak, 22, has been on a heater recently, and it carried over into the week. The former fifth-round pick by the Kings in 2020 found the back of the net three times, including a two-goal game that saw Chromiak score the game-winning goal and record a game-high seven shots on goal. Chromiak has recorded 11 points (5 G, 6 A) in his last 11 games, and that at the same time Marco Sturm put him on a line with Glenn Gawdin and Charles Hudon.
Chromiak’s speed has been a factor on that line. His 16 goals on the season are a career-high for him as a professional. This is Chromiak’s best stretch since January of 2023, his rookie season.

The other player was Liam Greentree. In three games, Greentree was dynamic again, recording eight points (4 G, 4 A). The captain of the Windsor Spitfires helped lead the way in the team’s first-round series victory, recording five points, including a hat trick, in the series-clinching game five. Greentree’s ability to create for himself and his teammates with that great shot and playmaking, as well as his ability to play a power forward game, make him a unique player. Kings fans have every reason to be excited about his potential.
