With training camp just around the corner, we are previewing each player on the LA Kings roster. Up next: Isaiah Saville!
Birthdate: September 21, 2000
Birthplace: Anchorage, Alaska
Height: 6’1
Weight: 196 lbs
Position: Goalie

Draft: 5th round, 135th overall, 2019 NHL Entry Draft
Isaiah Saville didn’t play at all in the 2024-25 campaign due to an injury. Since there are no stats for him from last season, we will look at the season prior. Saville, a prospect in the Vegas Golden Knights system since 2019, played in 22 games for Vegas’ AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights. In the games he played, Saville posted a record of 7-12-1 along with a 3.27 goals-against average, .893 save percentage, and one shutout. His one shutout was a 3-0 victory over the Ontario Reign in a New Year’s Eve matchup.
Goaltender Isaiah Saville: It feels really good. It was a bounce back game for me, and I think I needed to perform the way that I know that I can. So I was happy to get the win, first of all, and then the first shutout for sure. pic.twitter.com/KTE808Zcq7

Saville was signed to a one-year AHL contract by the Reign. With Pheonix Copley and Erik Portillo expected to be assigned to Ontario (Copley has to clear waivers), Saville will likely start the year in Greenville with the Swamp Rabbits. It won’t be a bad thing for Saville as it will help him get back into game rhythm. If injuries or call-ups occur that affect the Reign, Saville will likely be the first one called up.
