Lightning's Brayden Point could return this postseason

Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point has been out of action since May 14 with a lower-body injury. Just days away from the start of the Eastern Conference Final, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper provided updates on Point's health and his status for the remainder of the postseason. 

"It's hard for me to say right now because I don't even know when this next round is going to start," Cooper said. "Is Point closer to playing in round three than he was in round two? No question. He's progressing. We've just got to see."

Point was injured in Game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs back in the opening round of the playoffs. Point twisted his right leg awkwardly during the first period before leaving the game. He's yet to practice or skate since the injury.
