Look: Coyotes giving away mullet wigs for first game at Mullett Arena

The Arizona Coyotes have a very fitting giveaway scheduled for their first game at Mullett Arena on Friday night.

The giveaway: actual mullet wigs.

Ready to rock the Mullett.

The Coyotes' arena situation has been a major talking point in the NHL this season given that it is a temporary shared space with Arizona State University, holds only 5,000 people, and has a locker room situation that is not exactly what professional athletes are used to dealing with.

But they are at least having some fun with the name and playing into it.

Mullett arena, by the way, is named after a family that has supported ASU's hockey program since its creation.

It is definitely going to be a unique experience to see an NHL regular season game played in such a small venue, but it is no doubt going to have a great atmosphere.
