The Los Angeles Kings picked up their second win of the season last night with a 2-1 overtime win over the St. Louis Blues. They also got goalie Darcy Kuemper back last night. He stopped 17 of the 18 shots in his first game since October 13th. With Kuemper back and the Kings having Anton Forsberg, they placed Phoenix Copley on waivers. The plan is to send Copley to Ontario of the AHL. Copley was claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Lightning on October 2nd, then the Kings acquired him back on the 15th via a trade as they traded future considerations to Tampa Bay. Copley didn’t appear in a game for the Kings. The Kings return tomorrow night against the Dallas Stars at 9:00 PM EST.
