Mammoth fans may found their main rival

Before the Arizona Coyotes moved to Utah, Utah was the territory of either the VGK or the Colorado Avalanche, but mostly Vegas.

That's why Vegas may dislike the decision, because that move took a large portion of its fanbase. Arizona, meanwhile, is a state that doesn't seem to really like Hockey, and if fans in Arizona were to like a team, it might still be their old Coyotes (the Mammoth).

That's one reason why these teams may dislike each other. Then there's last season, when Utah had a heartbreaking series and went up 2-1 against the VGK. They blew two late third-period leads, and boom, the Mammoth lost a series that felt like they could've, would've, and should've won.

This loss in the postseason left a pretty empty feeling for Utah fans. That feeling only got worse when the VGK seemed to have no problem in the Western Conference, as they easily fended off the Avalanche and Anaheim Ducks to reach the Stanley Cup Finals.

Of course, the Carolina Hurricanes would go to take down the VGK in the Finals, but that didn't exactly make Mammoth fans feel better about the VGK.

In the Central Division, Utah fans have a lot options to choose from in terms of teams they might really dislike, but it seems like at the moment, the most common enemy are the Golden Knights.
