Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews Makes Cameo in SickKids Fundraising Ad with Ryan Reynolds and Michael Buble
USA TODAY Sports

Auston Matthews is once again helping SickKids fundraise during the holiday season.

The 26-year-old appeared in a video with SickKids that also featured Canadian actor and SickKids Ambassador Ryan Reynolds and Canadian singer/songwriter and Grammy-award winner Michael Buble.

The fundraising video focuses on the children at SickKids acting like kids, throwing tantrums, and as Reynolds says jokingly, "be ******".

Matthews appears halfway through the video, surprising several children who were doing arts and crafts.

"Hey kids, it's NHL superstar Auston Matthews," a woman in the video explained to the children.

"Hey," Matthews said before one of the children pushed their crafts all over the floor.

"I wanted Michael Bublé," the young girl screamed at Matthews.

Matthews has been a supporter of SickKids for several years. Last season, the 26-year-old wore custom SickKids ugly/not ugly holiday sweater-themed skates.

"Thank you @VancityReynolds for supporting @sickkids every year and for having me join what has to be one of the funniest fundraising ads ever created," Devin Singh, a Paediatric Emergency Medicine doctor at SickKids, said in a post on X. "This is a must watch! Repost and donate if you can. p.s. @AM34 & @MichaelBuble are hilarious."

If you donate money to SickKids before December 24, Samsung Canada will match all donations up to $100,000. You can donate here.
