Fraser Minten is on the board at the 2024 IIHF World Juniors.
The Toronto Maple Leafs prospect recorded his first goal and assist for a two-point night as Team Canada made short work of Team Latvia, defeating them 10-0 in their second game of the tournament.
Minten took a long-range shot from just outside the circle and put the puck past two Latvian defenders before the puck went into the net.
That goal made it 6-0 for Canada at the 2:14 mark of the third period.
Minten later recorded his first assist of the tournament when he got the primary assist on Conor Geekie's second goal of the game which made it 8-0 Canada.
Minten, Toronto's second-round pick (38th overall) in the 2022 NHL Draft, finished with a +2 and logged two shots on goal in 16:56 of ice time. He was named captain of the Canadian squad on Christmas Eve in his first appearance representing Canada.
