The Toronto Maple Leafs will be heading to Florida for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series, up 2-0. After another solid effort in front of their fans, the Maple Leafs are now in control of this series.

Entering the game, Toronto found out that they would be without starting goalie Anthony Stolarz due to injury. Stolarz was in a scary collision with Panthers forward Sam Bennett in Game 1 and had to be stretchered off the ice.

The Maple Leafs have provided an update on Stolarz, saying that he is now resting. But he was unable to play in Game 2, opening the door for Joseph Woll to take over in the net.

Woll helped the team get the win in Game 1 and continued his strong play in Game 2 as well. The goalie stopped 25-of-28 shot attempts against the Panthers, giving his team a chance.

After the game was over, the Maple Leafs' social media account sent out a message to show appreciation to the goalie.

The series will now shift over to Florida for Games 3 and 4, giving the Panthers a decent chance to strike back. Toronto has done nothing but defend home ice, so they will need to keep the pressure on if they want to take control of the series.

However, it won't be easy to put the defending champions on the brink of elimination. Toronto is going to need a total team effort to grab a victory on the road in Game 3.
