Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander spoke to reporters after Monday's practice and provided an injury update.
After missing three of the past four games with a lower-body injury, Nylander told reporters he’s “good to go” ahead of Toronto’s matchup with the Pittsburgh Penguins at Scotiabank Arena, per Pierre LeBrun.
Nylander’s injury dates back to late October, when he was hit in open ice by Buffalo Sabres forward Jason Zucker. He briefly returned for one game before sitting out two more leading up to Monday's matchup.
Head coach Craig Berube shuffled the team's lines on Monday, slotting Nylander in his usual second-line right-wing role alongside rookie Easton Cowan and former captain John Tavares.

Bobby McMann skated among the extras during line rushes but had not officially been scratched by the time of the Leafs' practice.
Berube said McMann remains available as the Leafs finalize their lineup before puck drop, but didn't provide clarity on whether or not he will play on Monday.
The Maple Leafs are expected to ice Cowan, Tavares, and Nylander together on the club’s top power-play unit, with Morgan Rielly and Auston Matthews rounding out the group.
Nylander’s return adds needed scoring depth for a Toronto team sitting at 6–5–1 and looking to climb back into a playoff position in the crowded Eastern Conference.
Regarding defenseman Chris Tanev, who needed to be carried off the ice on a stretcher on Saturday, Berube said the veteran is "doing fine" but didn't elaborate on his status.
The Leafs and the Penguins will face each other on Monday, with puck drop set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
