Matchups revealed for Hockey Day Minnesota 2026 in Hastings

The matchups for Hockey Day Minnesota 2026 have been revealed, with the action centering on Hastings when the pucks drop on Saturday, January 24. 

The action will start with an outdoor professional game in Hastings when the Iowa Wild (the Minnesota Wild's affiliate from the American Hockey League) plays the Milwaukee Admirals on Jan. 23 at 5 p.m. CT. 

Then on Saturday, there will be a trio of high school hockey games: 

• Hastings vs. Park of Cottage Grove (girls)
• Hastings vs. East Ridge (boys)
• Rock Ridge vs. St. Thomas Academy (boys)

Saturday's festivities will conclude with the Minnesota Wild game against the Florida Panthers at Grand Casino Arena (formerly the Xcel Energy Center) at 8 p.m. 

Tickets for the Iowa-Milwaukee game go on sale Aug. 4, while tickets to the high school games can be purchased now. Prices vary based on the day (the outdoor rink will be hosting additional games Jan. 17-22). Tickets to the games on Hockey Day (Jan. 24) cost $20 for students and $35 for adults. Kids 5 and under get free admission.
