New York Rangers center Matt Rempe was sent down to the Hartford Wolf Pack recently, only to be recalled just days later back to the Rangers.

Overall, Rempe's stint in Hartford was classified as a failure based on the statistics he put up. However, it didn't really matter in the eyes of the Rangers franchise. Instead, they brought him back up to the NHL, and now, only time will tell whether or not he gets any playing time.

While speaking to Rangers reporter Mollie Walker, Rempe gave his take on his stint in the AHL. For the most part, he felt like it was a good thing.

' Yeah, for sure,' Rempe said. 'Got to go play 17/18/19 minutes the last two games, played center, played all situations. It was good for me... Hadn't played a lot of minutes in a long while so it was good for me to get all those game situations, feel the puck, play not just the physical side and play in a top-six role.'

Rempe showed a lot of maturity while speaking on the AHL, noting that he still wants to grow as a player and that he has a lot of growing left to do, going forward.

'I'm so young still. I want to go play games. I want to grow my game. I got to get a lot better in all areas. I think that's great for me to go play. That was the first time I played PK and power play in a pro hockey game ever... So that was great.'

Only time will tell whether or not Rempe improves, or if the AHL stint proves to be a massive bust.
