Mic'd Up Audio Reveals What Tkachuk and Bennett Said Behind the Bench During Panthers' Blowout of Leafs

The Florida Panthers blew out the Maple Leafs in Game 7, and on the bench with their players mic'd up, it's clear that they're ready for a deep run again in 2025.

After playing in several Game 7's in recent years, the Florida Panthers were clearly ready against the Toronto Maple Leafs, as they dominated their fierce division rival as they blew them off the ice, winning 6-1 to clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals.

It was clear to anyone watching just how comfortable Florida's team are in big pressure moments, and that was only further proven by the mic'd up bench during their massive Game 7 victory.

The video shows several players discussing how much they are enjoying playing, while also noting that they've got at least another month of hockey in them moving forward as it becomes clear that the team have the goal of making the Stanley Cup Playoffs for a third straight season.

Not only that, but it again shows how relaxed the team is on the bench, as none of the players featured in the video appeared to be worried about the result of the game, with confidence in the group around them that they could come up big and make the plays needed to win a critical game against Toronto.

Contrast that to the other side where players quickly felt the moment overcome them as the Panthers took over the game, and it's easy to see why one team is thriving while the other heads into the off-season after yet another Stanley Cup Playoffs disappointment.

Ultimately, this video simply demonstrates the trust and belief that the Panthers have in each other, and even with a tough Hurricanes team upcoming, beginning on Tuesday night, it's safe to say that Florida are confident in their abilities again in 2025.
