Stars forward Mikko Rantanen continues to do everything for his new team, playing a massive role in today's Game 3 win over the Jets and authoring a major run.

The Dallas Stars have re-taken a 1-game lead over the Winnipeg Jets after today's 5-2 win at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Not surprisingly, Mikko Rantanen's fingerprints were all over the win as he scored and added a pair of assists. He now leads all skaters in playoff scoring, which included consecutive natural hat tricks in both Game 7 of the opening round against his former Colorado Avalanche teammates and the subsequent Game 1 against the Jets.

After the game, Rantanen spoke live with the TNT panel of analysts that include Paul Bissonnette, Anson Carter, Henrik Lundqvist and Liam McHugh; he was immediately asked about what it is about playoff hockey that suits him.

I think just playoff hockey, you know? The chase for the Stanley Cup, these are the best games that any hockey player can dream of. I'm just excited to play these games and help as much as I can.

When asked about his line mate Roope Hintz, Rantanen indicated that he's a great teammate to have and skate with.

I think obviously he's a great player, easy to play with and easy to read when he has the puck. I almost, every time, know what he's going to do. That's an area I always appreciate in a lineman, when you can read him really well on the ice. His speed, he's one of the fastest guys in the League...just a smart player and easy to play with.

Finally, Lundqvist asked Rantanen if he sees himself more as a pass-1st kind of player or more of a scorer.

I think growing up, always pass-1st guy, and I still have that mentality even though I've become a bit more selfish over the years, shooting more nowadays than I did a few years ago. But I think pass-1st guy.
