Nashville Predators Assign Two to Milwaukee Admirals

This afternoon, Nashville Predators General Manager Barry Trotz announced that they are assigning forward Zachary L’Heureux and defenseman Tanner Molendyk to their AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals. This brings the Predators training camp roster to 25 players: 15 forwards, eight defensemen, and two goalies. The Predators wrap up their preseason schedule tomorrow against the Carolina Hurricanes. L’Heureux, in two preseason games, recorded an assist. Molendyk played in two preseason games and was held pointless and finished as a minus-one.

Zachary L’Heureux

L’Heureux, in 62 games for the Predators last season, recorded 15 points on five goals and ten assists. He was a minus-six. In four games with Milwaukee, he had five points on three goals and two assists. He was a plus-four. In his young career, he has played 70 games with the Admirals and recorded 53 points, including 22 goals and 31 assists. He is a +14 with two power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, and five power-play goals.

Tanner Molendyk

Molendyk last season played in 49 games in the Western Hockey League with the Saskatoon Blades and Medicine Hat Tigers. He had 47 points on nine goals and 38 assists. He was a +25 with two power-play goals and two game-winning goals. In five seasons in the WHL, he’s played in 238 games, recording 160 points on 31 goals and 129 assists. He is a +87 with six power-play goals and seven game-winning goals.
