Roope Hintz missed Game 3 after an injury, and for some reason, Kevin Bieksa called him and the Stars out for disrespecting Connor McDavid following the injury.

Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between Dallas and Edmonton were full of drama, with the biggest moment of all being a slash from Darnell Nurse on Roope Hintz, who had to be helped off the ice as a result.

After the game, the Stars clearly weren't happy about the call, with Head Coach Peter DeBoer stating that if this happened to Connor McDavid, the punishment for Dallas players would be much more severe.

'Does anyone in this room think if Connor McDavid gets carried off the ice like that, it's not a five-minute major?'

While that appears to simply be a coach standing up for his players, Kevin Bieksa wasn't too happy about it, and during Game 3 in Edmonton, the former NHL star let the Dallas Stars know what he thought about their comments.

"If McDavid got slashed like that and carried off the ice, he wouldn't be playing two days later. Hintz made it look like a serious injury, and clearly it wasn't"

Essentially, Bieksa is calling Hintz soft for acting like he was seriously hurt before being back on the ice, but he would eventually miss Game 3 due to that injury, so Bieksa's comments are a little bit off as a result.

At the end of the day, the comments from all sides over this situation have only stoked the fire of what is already a very fiery, intense Western Conference rivalry between these two teams, and if Hintz is back in Game 4, we can definitely expect more physicality as a result.
