NHL fans were behaving terribly on Thanksgiving Eve

NHL fans were not feeling very thankful on Wednesday night and behaving terribly in games across the league.

We already showed you the actions of irate New Jersey Devils fans, as they littered the ice with beer cans following a third disallowed goal to help end their 13-game winning streak.

They were not the only ones acting out.

In Colorado somebody threw a bag of candy (sour patch kids? Gummy bears?) on the ice late in the third period of the Avalanche's 4-3 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.

Public service announcement: The only acceptable thing to throw on the ice during a hockey game is a hat after a three-goal game, and perhaps a dead sea creature before a playoff game in Nashville (a catfish) or Detroit (an octopus).

Recently Canadian fans have taken up the habit of throwing their jerseys on the ice as a sign of frustration with their team, while past incidents have seen everything from, plastic rats, to waffles, to cheeseburgers hit the ice.
