NHL Friday night bets: Three-leg goal scorer parlay

We went 2-3 on our goal scorer bets Thursday night, which is profitable if you bet them straight. Despite that, it sure would be fun to get back into the hitting parlays business.

We're keeping it sharp here for Friday's NHL slate, with three games circled that offer goal scoring value.

While I've identified my favorite options on each of these teams, know that all three are in great spots for scoring Friday night, so either ride with us or find someone who speaks to you.

Parlayed on FanDuel, these three give us +1099 odds.

Let's get to the picks.

Brad Marchand: +146 FanDuel

This is a smash spot for Boston, who are averaging the second-most goals scored in their last five road games (4.2) against an Arizona team that sees a lot of shots and allows the fifth-most goals per game at home in their last 10 (3.7).

I love seeing that intersection, and multiple Bruins should find the back of the net.

My pick here is Marchand, who's quieted down a bit lately but has been steady on the road.

Marchand has a goal in five of his last six away games: seven total in that span. His shots on goal volume has also been near automatic on the road, with 5 SOG in three straight and 4+ in 7 of 8.

This Arizona team is a terrific target (second-most goals overall), and Boston has been great on the road. Love Marchand to begin this parlay.

Chris Kreider: +145 DraftKings

Kreider has been rolling at home, so we'll ride with the hot-hand against a Minnesota team who has recently been seeing a lot of shots and goals against them.

Before we touch on the Wild's numbers, let's discuss Kreider at home.

When in New York, Kreider has a goal in four straight, including a hat trick. He's scored in five of his last six, and he has 22 shots on goal in his past four.

The man loves skating in MSG, so we'll load him up to keep the streak moving.

The Rangers as a team have been great at home, averaging 4.6 goals per game in their last five, the third-best mark in the NHL.

On the other end, Minnesota is allowing 3.8 goals per game on the road in their last five, which is seventh-most.

Just another game with really solid intersection, I like New York to score multiple goals Friday night.

Mikko Rantanen: +112 FanDuel

Our third leg of the +1099 parlay is Colorado's Mikko Rantanen.

The Avalanche are rolling no matter where they are. On the road, their 4.4 goals scored in their past 10 games is the most in the league.

Meanwhile, Chicago is allowing the 11th-most goals at home in their past five, and also see a lot more shots against them when at home.

When breaking down where goals are coming from against the Blackhawks, you see the right wing position near the top, so in slots Rantanen.

The RW also seems to be steadier on the road, with six goals in his last seven away tilts.

Rantanen is a high-volume operator on the power play, and Chicago is drawing more penalties of late, always a good factor to check up on before betting someone to score.

Nathan MacKinnon may be out Friday night, which would likely slot up Nazem Kadri to first line center. Kadri has done well setting up teammates for scores of late, with nine assists in his last 10 road games.

Rantanen scored against Chicago earlier this week, so I say we run it back.

Closing Thoughts

I like all of these games for goals, something I'd like to reiterate one more time. Take a look at some other skaters from these teams if you'd like, there's value to be had.

If you've been betting these goal scorers straight for the last three days, you are up quite a bit. It's always fun to throw in a lottery ticket, which I'm doing with the three above, but remember that the far more responsible option is straight bets.

Let's have a night!
