Ryan Boulding: Anaheim Ducks forward Mason McTavish was a late scratch with an upper-body injury. Coach Joel Quenneville: “I don’t know how long he’s going to be out. I don’t think it’s too serious, but we’ll know more next day or so. I think post warmup, could have been warmup too, though. Warmup could have triggered it.”

NHL: Calgary Flames forward Martin Pospisil made his season debut last night. He suffered an undisclosed injury back on October 1st.

Daily Faceoff: Flames forward Jonathan Huberdeau is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

NHL: Chicago Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen missed his fourth consecutive game with an upper-body injury. Coach Jeff Blashill isn’t sure if Teravainen will return before the Olympic break.

Emily Kaplan: After meeting with doctors, it was decided that New Jersey Devils defenseman Luke Hughes won’t have surgery at this point, and he’ll rehab his upper-body injury. He’s been placed on the LTIR.

Sporstnet: Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang is dealing with a lower-body injury and is day-to-day. He suffered the injury sometime during Monday’s game. Defenseman Erik Karlsson remains on the IR with a lower-body injury.

Dave McCarthy: Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson left last night’s game in the first period with a lower-body injury. It looked like his right leg got twisted when he tangled up with Mason Raymond.

NHL: Vancouver Canucks forward Teddy Blueger returned to the lineup from his lower-body injury. He had been out for the past 43 games.

NHL: Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson returned to the lineup after missing the past eight games with a lower-body injury.
