Edmonton Oilers star forward Leon Draisaitl returned to the lineup in style on Saturday. After missing four games because of an injury, the 29-year-old center delivered a big performance for his team against the Calgary Flames at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

Draisaitl scored the game-tying goal with under four minutes left in regulation and lit the lamp for the game-winning score in overtime, giving the Oilers the 3-2 win.

Not only that, but Draisaitl also became just the second active player to have at least four 50-goal seasons, as noted by the NHL via a social media post following the game.

Draisaitl first pulled off a 50-goal season in the NHL during the 2019-20 campaign. He did it again in 2021-22 when he scored 55 goals.

The following season, the former Art Ross Trophy winner found the back of the net 52 times.

The former Hart Memorial Trophy winner entered the Flames game with 49 goals in the 2024-25 NHL season. He now has 51 goals to his name this campaign, with a chance to add more to his tally, as the Oilers have nine games left to play.

Edmonton, which improved to 42-26-5, will next take on the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this coming Tuesday to kick off a four-game road trip.
