We open up NHL predictions with an Atlantic Division matchup between the Florida Panthers and Montreal Canadiens. Florida is expected to go with Sergei Bobrovsky but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Panthers are 5-4-1 in their previous 10 games but did lose to the Toronto Maple Leafs last time out. Brad Marchand continues to lead the way this season with 23 goals and 23 assist for 46 points.
Samuel Montembeault is the likely starter after Jacob Fowler got the start in a 4-1 victory over the Calgary Flames. Montreal has caught fire and is 7-1-2 in its last 10 games, which includes victories in its last two outings. The Habs swept last year’s season series and beat the Cats earlier this season. Nick Suzuki leads the team in assists (33) and points (47).
Montreal has had Florida’s number as of late. However, the Panthers will get on track with the win.
Prediction: Panthers win 4-3.

Our second game of NHL predictions has the Flames going for the season sweep against the Boston Bruins. Devin Cooley is the projected starter for the Flames after Dustin Wolf started against the Canadiens. Calgary is 5-5 in its previous 10 games but have lost its last two games in a row. MacKenzie Weegar has four assists in the Flames’ last 10 games.
Jeremy Swayman is the probable starter for the Bruins, who are looking to overturn a 2-1 loss to the Flames on December 29. Boston is 3-5-2 in its last 10 games but has won two of its last three games. David Pastrnak leads the team in assists (29) and points (48) so far this campaign.
Calgary has been playing well. However, Boston should get the win to even the season series.
Prediction: Bruins win 4-2.

Our final and featured game of NHL predictions has the Edmonton Oilers going for the three-game season sweep of the Winnipeg Jets. Edmonton is expected to go with Connor Ingram in goal for this game. The Oilers are 6-4 in their last 10 games but did beat the Nashville Predators in their last time on ice. Connor McDavid leads in goals (28), assists (47), and points (75).
Connor Hellebuyck is the projected starter for the Jets, who have lost 10 consecutive games. Winnipeg has only mustered four points during that stretch and are sitting at the bottom of the league. The Jets are strong on defence but have struggled to score goals as of late. Kyle Connor leads the team in assists (29) and points (49).
Winnipeg should eventually break through. However, it faces a tall order stopping the Edmonton offence.
Prediction: Oilers win 4-2.
We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stick with our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Jets versus the Oilers is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.
As for individual props, go with Leon Draisaitl to net a power play goal for Edmonton. On the Winnipeg side of things, take Mark Scheifele to get at least one assist in this game.
