NHL shares gorgeous photos, videos from outdoor game at Lake Tahoe

The Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche took the ice in a different location on Saturday.

In a first for the NHL, both teams suited up at an outdoor rink at Lake Tahoe, with breathtaking views of the mountains behind them. The league has hosted many outdoor games in the last decade, but nothing quite like the scene at Lake Tahoe.

The Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers will do the same on Sunday, but here are some of the best photos from before Saturday's contest between the Golden Knights and Avalanche.
