NHL Sunday: Three games to bet points and goals props

If you've been following along, you know how close we came to glory last night with our four-leg goal parlay. Unfortunately, we missed by a few inches, but today is a fresh day and there's NHL games worth a look.

We've got three games that offer value for betting on points and goals props. If you want to parlay them, the odds will be brought in at the end.

Let's get to the games.

Carolina Hurricanes

Last night was heartbreaking on the Carolina side, but we can't let that bias erode our process for these bets.

This is another good spot for the Canes, who are still averaging the third-most goals scored per game at home in their last ten (3.9) despite scoring just twice Saturday night.

On the other end is a target from Saturday, San Jose. The Sharks let up a decent chunk of shots on the road and their 3.5 goals allowed in their past ten road games is enticing.

Saturday night, San Jose let up five goals, so we're going back to them, and going back to the same player.

Sebastian Aho

I get it. He broke our hearts. I'm all about second chances in the NHL, and Aho deserves an opportunity to right Saturday night's wrong and help us win a parlay.

As mentioned, it's a good spot to target, and Aho has rarely gone multiple games without a point at home. He did Saturday night, and the season trends suggest he'll get back on the board tonight.

Prior to yesterday, Aho had 1+ point in 8 of 9 home games, with four goals in three games.

Let's give him another go today. If you like the game but don't trust Aho, consider Andrei Svechnikov, who scored last night at home and has recorded a point in four straight in Carolina.

Point odds: -250 (DK/FD) Goal odds: +152 (FD)

Boston Bruins

The Bruins see a really solid intersection of goal scoring trends that put them on our radar Sunday night.

Boston is averaging 4.4 goals per game in their last five road games, the second-best mark in the league. On the other end, Dallas allows 3.5 goals per game in their last ten at home, which is ninth-most.

One Bruin skater in particular has extremely steady road numbers that give him the edge in this one.

David Pastrnak

Pastrnak has 8 points in his last four away games. He hasn't scored in two straight, but had 2 goals in each of his two before that.

That's solid production, and his shots also seem to be plentiful on the road, averaging 5.25 per game in his last four.

Point odds: -215 (FD/DK) Goal odds: +138 (FD)

Colorado Avalanche

Colorado is in a smash spot tonight against Buffalo, who see the second-most shots against them on the road in their last ten games.

Colorado is one of the most explosive offenses in the NHL, averaging 3.9 goals scored per game in their last ten at home (third-most).

Buffalo lets up 3.2 goals per game in their last ten, and against an offense like this, they should see a decent amount tonight.

Plenty of good Avalanche options, but we're loading up the one who has been the most productive at home lately.

Gabriel Landeskog

Landeskog is rolling at home, with 1+ point in 15 straight games. 15 straight! Unfortunately, books have moved his points prop up to 1.5.

That's a good standalone spot, but avoid doing a points parlay because of it and stick with goals.

Landeskog has scored in five of his last seven home games, including a hat-trick. Against a soft opponent, I like him to add to that tally.

Point odds: Over 1.5 (+116 FD) Goal odds: +155 (DK)

Closing Thoughts

If you can find a Landeskog points line at .5, like on Barstool, by all means parlay points. You could also pick someone else on Colorado as there should be plenty to go around.

Today, I'm going for glory with the three-leg goal scorer parlay from above. Those odds come in at +1315 on FanDuel.

Good luck today!
