Chicago took the lead just over midway through the first period thanks to DeBrincat's power-play goal. Jason Robertson got Dallas even in the middle frame before a scoreless third period.
In overtime, DeBrincat provided an exclamation point by scoring the game-winning goal on a beautiful rush with Patrick Kane.
