Season review

Fresh off signing a one-year, two-way NHL contract in July with the LA Kings, Logan Brown’s 2025-26 campaign didn’t start well. The 6-foot-7 forward missed the first 17 games with an injury and wasn’t a staple in the lineup until March. For a player to miss a big chunk of the season to injuries and healthy scratches, January and February were basically his training camp while everyone else was in mid-season mode.

Finally becoming a mainstay in the Reign lineup, Brown started to find a rhythm and became an impactful player. Where he excelled was his puck protection and battles along the wall, using his big frame to his advantage.

After recording two assists in his first 11 games, the points started to come for Brown as he recorded 14 points (1 G, 13 A) in his final 20 games. His two goals in the series against the Coachella Valley Firebirds were tied for the team lead with Jack Hughes. Fun fact: all three of his goals (regular season and playoffs combined) came against the Firebirds.

Brown is slated to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. Rumors swirled a month ago that he could be interested in playing in the KHL next season. Nothing is official yet, of course.
