Aleksander Barkov and Evan Rodrigues both went down in Game 4 for the Florida Panthers, and now we've got intriguing updates on both veterans from Head Coach Paul Maurice ahead of a must-win Game 5 back in Toronto.

Game 4 between the Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs was absolutely brutal as it has been all series, and now, it appears that Florida are dealing with some injury issues as a result.

Late in the game, Max Domi was called for boarding on Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov with a hit that looked brutal, and now, Head Coach Paul Maurice has thankfully revealed that Barkov will be okay after the hit and will take his place in the lineup for Game 5.

Unfortunately, he wasn't quite as optimistic on veteran forward Evan Rodrigues, who Maurice revealed will need to undergo further evaluation on Monday to determine if he will be good to play in what will be a must-win Game 5 for both of these teams.

Through four games of this series between two of the most bitter rivals in the NHL thus far, there have been brutal shots, missed calls from the officials, fights, scrums and everything in between, and as a result, both teams are 2-2 at home with Game 5 being perhaps the pivotal game in this series.

That game takes place on Tuesday, and on Monday we are likely to have some massive updates on injuries and suspensions for these two teams, and whoever is remaining in the lineup ahead of Game 5 will be ready for war as they both look to punch their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals this season.
