Through 26 games in 2025-26, Malkin has eight goals and 21 assists for 29 points, leading the team in assists and ranking second in points.

The 2004 No. 2 overall pick was a major factor in Pittsburgh winning three Stanley Cup championships in 2009, 2016 and 2017. Malkin won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP in 2009.
As for Lizotte, he’s recorded three goals and two assists for five points in 27 games this season. Through eight NHL seasons, Lizotte has 51 goals and 80 assists for 131 points in 406 career regular-season games with the Penguins and Los Angeles Kings.
